Ready with a Gift

I always seem to need something for a baby shower so I decided to make up some baby hats and booties so I always have a gift ready to go. The hat is not my design but the booties are.

Cranes Corner

Heard today on Cranes Corner, his blog is not updated yet but here is the link....for Ed Crane's Crane's Corner(local morning news anchor on KFBK)

He was mentioning something about truck drivers (long haulers) having to wait sometimes days for their return shipments and he was saying some have taken up sewing and knitting. Can you imagine(yes, I can) these big burly truck drivers knitting and sewing? Wonderful, I loved it. He said some even take their sewing machines with them. Check out his blog later today and I am sure it will be updated with his post.

I do love Ed Crane's commentaries and try to catch them everymorning. 7:18 am and then 6:18pm.

Knit???

I can knit, not that I really do very often. I do once in a while just so I remember. I don't like to because I think it goes so much slower. So with my scrap yarn I just finished this knitted dishcloth from a pattern I found online. I have never actually completed a knit project before so for this practice session I had to find something easy. Knit, Purl anyone? Not for me again for a while. Find me my crochet hook quick.

Dishclothes

I have a bunch of scrap cotton so I designed these fun dishclothes. I think they turned out cute. I do have some other ones that I have made and we do use them in the house. These are most recent ones I just finished.
